Senior Compensation Analyst

Location:

New Brighton, MN - onsite

The Senior Compensation Analyst contributes to the success of APi Group by partnering with the business to develop strategies and programs to drive the performance of the business. This role is a key member of the Total Rewards team and will partner with the compensation team, HR business partners, and finance on our compensation programs and processes including annual merit, annual incentives, annual grant, survey participation, and the technology tools that support our compensation function.

This role will also manage our compensation resources, content, and communication plans and support with analysis and data administration related items.

What You Will Do Broad-Based Compensation Process & Program Lead (50% of time)
  • Partner with compensation, HR, and finance on annual incentive tracking, accrual processes, and payout process; support any modeling or analysis required.
  • Manage the communication process for all annual incentive plans and create tools to support driving engagement with the plan.
  • Program lead for our US based compensation structure.
  • Process lead for our annual merit process.
  • Process lead for our annual incentive process.
Compensation Tools & Resources Lead (30% of time)
  • Manage survey participation execution, supporting our Associate Compensation Analyst through the submission process.
  • Own the vendor relationship with Pay Factors and survey providers.
  • Lead the development and delivery of Compensation Tools and Resources in partnership with the compensation and HR teams.
  • Act as the compensation business partner for all enterprise technology tools that connect to compensation (i.e. Oracle, Ceridian). Including managing the overall job architecture structure.
Long-Term Incentive Process Lead (20% of time)
  • Manage the annual, off-cycle, and non-employee director long-term incentive grant processes.
  • Support with long-term incentive communications.
Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 5‑7 years compensation, finance, or HR experience; minimum of 3 years specialized compensation experience
  • Highly detail oriented and ability to execute with high levels of accuracy
  • Ability to handle high‑pressure situations with professional composure

    Strong data analysis, including strong proficiency in Excel (macros, vlookups)
  • Strong process management skills with process improvement experience
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience managing compensation processes including annual merit and annual incentives
  • Experience working with survey participation and market pricing tools (i.e. Pay Factors, Marketpay)
Benefits and Compensation

This role will be based out of our New Brighton office
. The pay range is $80,000 - $121,000
, depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for annual bonus and profit sharing based on company performance in addition to other benefits that support the total well‑being of you and your family.
