Bona Bros. is looking for a Diesel Truck Technician at our heavy-duty truck repair shop in New Brighton, MN.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3years of mechanical experience diagnosing and repairing a variety of diesel trucks.
Responsibilities:- Repair, overhaul, and perform routine maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment according to factory specifications
- Knowledge of OEM testing equipment, scan tools, and precision instruments to troubleshoot electrical systems (training provided)
- Diagnose and repair malfunctions in hydraulic systems, rail gear, mobile cranes, and truck utilities
- Perform inspections of vehicles and equipment (DOT, FRA, ANSI) - trainings offered for certification
- Test drive vehicles and test components to ensure repair satisfaction
- At least 3 years of mechanical repair experience on trucks/automotive to apply
- Knowledge of OEM testing equipment, scan tools, and precision instruments to troubleshoot electrical systems (training provided)
- CDL Class A or B (must obtain within 6 months of employment)
- Pass Drug Test
- DOT Inspector preferred (will send to class)
- Diagnostic equipment experience (OEM software)
