Key Responsibilities for the Assistant Controller:

Prepare and review financial statements while overseeing general ledger activities and month-end/year-end close processes.
Perform account reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies.
Support external audits, tax filings, and financial reporting requirements.
Analyze financial results and assist with budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement initiatives.
Strengthen internal controls and provide guidance to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications for the Assistant Controller:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
5+ years of full-cycle general ledger accounting experience within manufacturing or a related industry.
Strong ERP system experience and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
