Diagnostics Technician

Diagnostics Technician – full‑time position at DeVivo Bus Sales in New Britain, CT. Diagnostic technicians troubleshoot and triage electrical and drivetrain issues on buses, trucks and automobiles. Repairs are performed by other technicians after diagnosis. Continuous training is provided in a state‑of‑the‑art in‑house training department and through OEM factory programs.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Five years’ experience in automotive, truck and/or bus repair; ability to diagnose trucks, buses and general on‑highway vehicles.
• Cummins certification is preferred.
• Computer skills.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
• Hold, or be willing to work toward, ASE certifications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Physical strength and conditioning to safely perform all required tasks.
