Associate New Product Operations Planner

Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. is seeking an Associate New Product Operations Planner to join our Global Teams in the Tools & Outdoor Segment. This hybrid role is based in Towson, MD, Valley City, OH or New Britain, CT.

This position partners with cross‑functional teams and supports the New Product Development (NPD) Process from end to end.

Responsibilities include:

• Maintain the NPI tracker and keep it aligned with business requirements and supply chain.
• Ensure all business functions are engaged, informed, and following product timelines according to the Milestone Process.
• Communicate timeline constraints and operational mitigation plans to the business.
• Act as liaison between the Business Unit and Operations/Supply Chain for NPD and normal business processes.
• Conduct analytics to create detailed supply‑chain optimization initiatives, reducing total cost and lead time.
• Analyze supply‑chain constraints and develop lean strategies to drive sustainability and flexibility.
• Maintain the centralized New Product Master and Volume Tracker to support planning across functions.
• Aid in managing inventory to satisfy customer demand and commitments.
• Interface across Delivery/Development pillars (Sourcing, Operations, Channel Marketing, Product Marketing, Packaging Engineering, Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Program Managers) to focus on capacity, lead‑time, pre‑build requirements, gap analysis, and risk escalation.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field.
• 1–3 years of work experience, preferably a recent graduate.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access, etc.).
• Experience with SAP, JDA, and Business Warehouse is preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills across all organizational levels.
• Effective project‑management and team‑leadership skills.
• Strong multitasking ability and ability to manage deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proactive, initiative‑driven, and resilient.
• Self‑starter with a passion for excellence.

• Competitive base salary (Maryland: $51,700–$83,300 per year). Pay varies by location and experience.
