Art History Adjunct Instructor

Overview

The Art & Design Department at Central Connecticut State University is seeking an adjunct instructor with experience teaching art history survey courses.

• Teaching Art 110, Art 112, and/or Art 113.
• Developing and managing course syllabi and ensuring that syllabi.
• Planning and creating lectures, discussions, and course assignments.
• Providing regular and timely feedback to students to promote student success.
• Ability to work with diverse students and colleagues and nurture inclusive classrooms.
• Submitting grades in a timely manner.

• Required Qualifications: Master s degree in Art History
• Preferred Qualifications: PhD in Art History
• Evidence of quality teaching experience

In accordance with the American Association of University Professors (AAUP) Collective Bargaining Union Contract, compensation for the Adjunct position can be found in Article 12.8 of the contract and are quoted by credit hour.
