Para educator Deaf/Hard of Hearing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • ALL PARA EDUCATOR APPLICANTS must meet ONE of the following requirements and provide the corresponding documentation with their application:
    • 60 college credits or more:
      Upload official, legible college transcripts showing at least 60 college credits.
    • Passing Para Pro Assessment score:
      Upload official passing Para Pro Assessment test scores. For more information about the Para Pro Assessment, visit ETS Para Pro .
  • ALL PRESCHOOL PARA EDUCATOR APPLICANTS must meet ONE of the following requirements and provide the appropriate documentation with their application:
    • 12 College Credits in Early Childhood
    • Current, valid Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential

SALARY

  • For , pay rate ranges from $21.70/hour to $26.63/hour
  • Additional Differentials:
    • $0.55/hour for special programs (Bridges, Catalyst, KEY, Pathways)
    • $0.25/hour for non-program assignments requiring toileting of students
  • Additional Education Stipend:
    • $1,200 for having 120 completed college credits
    • $750 for having 60 completed college credits
    • $500 for holding a Para Pro/Para Pathways credential
