Base Pay Range: $57,000.00/yr – $68,500.00/yr
Position SummaryCommunity Mental Health Affiliates, Inc. (CMHA) is a private, non‑profit treatment provider headquartered in New Britain, CT, serving more than 7,500 adults and children each year. CMHA offers a Joint Commission‑accredited Behavioral Health Home and is SAMHSA‑Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC). We are hiring a Full‑time Clinician I or II for our Multi‑Dimensional Family Therapy (MDFT) Program located at 233 Main St., New Britain, CT 06051. The role is Monday‑Friday, 8:00 AM‑4:00 PM. Clinician I and II are supported with a $7,000–$10,000 k sign‑on bonus depending on level.
Essential Responsibilities- Maintain all trainings and certifications required by the program model.
- Complete documentation within designated time frames as required by CMHA and external regulatory agencies.
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments, diagnosing and recommending psychiatric and substance‑abuse treatment for adults and/or children.
- Administer assessment tools, integrate relevant information, and develop clinical formulations within established time frames.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group treatment utilizing evidence‑based practices to foster positive, strength‑based change.
- Collaborate with other providers, sharing pertinent clinical information in a timely manner.
- Respond to crisis situations and triage appropriately, communicating clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
- Offer referrals and linkages to community and internal resources as needed.
- Secure reimbursement for services rendered through accurate, timely documentation.
- Adhere to all state, federal, Joint Commission, and other oversight regulations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Clinician I:
Must hold an associate license (MFTA, PCA, LMSW) and be eligible for LCSW, LMFT, or LPC. - Clinician II:
Must hold a Connecticut license as a LCSW, LMFT, LPC, Ph.D., or LADC as appropriate for services. - All candidates must be certified in MANDT, First Aid, and CPR.
- Bi‑lingual preferred (Spanish/English).
