Hartford Health Care’s Pharmacy System includes 8 inpatient pharmacies, 6 cancer center infusion pharmacies, 3 retail pharmacies, and ambulatory care pharmacy department supporting more than 50 medical office practices.

Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Doctorate in Pharmacy (Pharm.
  
  D.) strongly preferred
• Experience:
  
  Hospital pharmacy experience preferred
• Knowledge of Pharmacy quality, safety and environmental control requirements
• Effective communication skills (verbal, written and listening)
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Good organizational skills with attention to details
• Good counseling skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical staff and colleagues
