Responsibilities & Qualifications- 5+ years procurement experience (Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management) with global, complex, strategic initiatives in a corporate environment; management consulting background preferred.
- 5+ years IT Technology category experience (hardware, software, IT related labor) with a focus on software.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Strategy, Finance, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, Legal, or another quantitative discipline; MBA preferred.
- Expert level proficiency in Excel (VBA/macros not required); strong contract negotiating skills.
- Core competencies:
analytical skills (data, financial, price analysis); project/time management; problem solving; communication/presentation; results orientation; contract interpretation accuracy; relationship building; business & professional acumen.
- Negotiate IT contract renewals: structure, lead, and support complex negotiations, including license management, with senior IT stakeholders; focus on the software category from forecast to execution with multi‑year savings.
- Strategic sourcing: plan and execute sourcing initiatives; evaluate vendors; negotiate/award contracts; manage SRM, implementation, governance, compliance, and procurement operations.
- IT escalation lead: central point of contact for escalations supporting a managed services provider and the internal IT procurement team; provide white‑glove handling for C‑suite and VIPs.
- IT day‑to‑day contract management operations: review, approve, track, and administer contracts; enhance SOPs for continuous improvement.
