Mange the distribution, tracking, and maintenance of tools, gages, and equipment. Play a key role in ensuring our production teams have the appropriate resources when needed, supporting efficiency, quality, and safety on the shop floor.

• Distribute tools, gages, and equipment to shop personnel in a timely manner
• Maintain accurate logs of distributed and returned items
• Monitor and manage inventory of tooling, equipment, and supplies utilizing Global Shop
• Proactively order supplies to prevent shortages
• Keep tool crib clean, organized, and clearly labeled for easy access
• Manage consumables items such as cutting fluids, fasteners, and safety gear
• Track tool usage and generate reports to assist with cost tracking and accountability
• Assist machinists by recommending appropriate tools for specific jobs
• Coordinate with production control to ensure timely receipt of supplies
• Verify that all tools and equipment meet quality and safety standards
• Perform any other duties as directed by immediate supervisor

• Good communication and organizational skills
• Strong Attention to detail and Inventory management skills
• Basic knowledge and understanding of tools, equipment, and machining processes a plus
• Computer proficiency in MS Office
• Knowledge of ERP systems
• Basic data analysis skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques
• Ability to work effectively with others
• Understanding of the Lean Enterprise Tool and principles

• Participate in company problem resolution teams
