The Hospital of Central Connecticut is an acute‑care community teaching hospital offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services in general medicine and surgery, as well as a wide variety of specialties. Our 47‑bed Emergency Room services approximately 80,000 to 85,000 patients annually.

Under the direction and general supervision of the Nurse Manager, the registered nurse utilizes evidence‑based practices in accordance with the State Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The registered nurse develops a plan of care using the nursing process to address the physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and educational needs of patients and families.

• RN with current Connecticut license required
• BSN preferred
• Experience in Emergency Medicine preferred
• New graduates may work under supervision per State guidelines
