Great opportunity to join a manufacturing company who has served customers in the Aerospace, Defense, Power Gen, and Medical Tooling Industries for over 40 years! We are seeking a Quality Inspector for this company who specializes in small machined parts. The ideal candidate will be someone with Quality Inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Must have the ability to use various precision measuring tools (Micro-Hite, Micrometer, Caliper, Comparator, Pins, Thread Gages, etc.).
Must be able to read and understand Blueprints. CMM operation experience is a plus. The hours for this position are flexible, you can work 7am-5:30pm Monday-Friday, or 8am-5:30pm, or 7am-4:30pm. Pay depends on experience (may be flexible for right candidate).
We offer a salary: $52,000 - $65,000 per year.
Shift: First.
Work hours:
7 AM - 5:30 PM.
Education:
No Degree Required.
- Visual Inspection on material and/or machining defects
- Dimensional inspection Utilizing Micro-Hite, Micrometers, Comparators, Pins, thread gages, etc.
- Operation of Keyence TM and IM units
- CMM Operation (PC-Dmis)
- First article inspection, In process inspection.
- Interpret complex engineering blueprints
- Understanding of GD&T
- Setup/Operation utilizing SIC laser marking machine
- Utilizing SIC laser marking machine
- Verify work to information listed on associated paperwork.
- Maintain accurate inspection records, shop travelers, routers, and compliance logs
- Follow ISO
9001 & AS 9100 standards
- Blueprint Reading
- Dimensional Inspection
- CMM Operation
- First Article Inspection
- Understand GD and T
- Understand ISO Standards
