Aerospace​/Power Gen Quality Control Inspector

Job Description

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team! You will conduct tests to determine the quality of materials and finished products as well as identify areas of improvement to increase efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• QC Inspection
• • Visual Inspection
  • • Material and/or machining defects
  • Dimensional inspection
  • • Utilizing Micro-Hite, Micrometers, Comparators, Pins, thread gages, etc.
  • Keyence TM and IM unit Programming/Setup/Operation
  • CMM Operation (PC-Dmis)
• First article inspection, In process inspection.
• Interpret complex engineering blueprints
• Understanding of GD&T
• Part marking
• • Setup/Operation utilizing SIC laser marking machine
  • Utilizing SIC laser marking machine
• Verify work to information listed on associated paperwork.
• • Maintain accurate inspection records, shop travelers, routers, and compliance logs.
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment
• Follow ISO
  9001 & AS 9100 standards

​​Qualifications:

• Previous work experience in quality control or other related fields
• Proficient in blue-print reading
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of Geometric tolerances
• Knowledge of PC-DMIS software preferred.
