Job OverviewCollier Electrical Corp is seeking skilled and dependable Journeyman Electricians (E-1 or E-2 license) to join our Field Operations team. In this hands‑on role, you will perform electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance on a variety of commercial and industrial job sites throughout Connecticut. Ideal candidates will bring a solid work ethic, team‑oriented mindset, and the drive to deliver high‑quality work safely and efficiently.
Travel to job sites is required, using company‑provided vans.

Key Responsibilities- Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting on commercial and industrial projects
- Work with blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute installations accurately
- Collaborate with fellow journeymen and apprentices on job sites to ensure work is completed on time and up to code
- Maintain safety standards at all times, using proper PPE and following OSHA/compliance guidelines
- Use personal hand tools and company‑provided equipment as needed to perform work
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and project teams
- Complete daily logs and provide updates on project status as required
- Valid State of Connecticut E-1 or E-2 Electrical License (required)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial or industrial electrical work preferred
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Able to pass a background check in compliance with applicable laws
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Own basic electrical tools
