Saint Peter's University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. We employ more than 3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than 1,000 doctors and dentists are on staff at our hospital. Services

Cardiology services offer the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease using such cardiac and vascular diagnostic services as:

  • Echocardiogram (transthoracic echocardiogram, transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) and stress echo)
  • Electrocardiogram (EKG)
  • Nuclear cardiology
  • Stress testing
  • Pacemaker checks
  • Event and Holter monitors

Saint Peter's board-certified cardiologists perform and interpret tests and follow up with reports to patients' referring physicians.

Requirements
  • A Medical degree and the successful completion of ACGME or AOA residency in Cardiology
  • MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey
  • Board certification or eligibility in Cardiology
  • CDS and DEA license required
  • Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance

Full-time compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from $ - $ USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality.
