B. Hersh Child Protection Center.

B. Hersh Child Protection Center offers a multidisciplinary team of health care professionals, including certified child abuse pediatricians, nurses, psychologists and social workers, offers help to children and their families in the evaluation and treatment of physical and emotional injuries caused by child abuse and neglect.

As a state-designated child protection center, Saint Peter's Dorothy

B. Hersh Child Protection Center (CPC) serves seven counties in central New Jersey. The Child Protection Center provides crisis intervention, child abuse assessments and referrals to community resources.

Requirements
  • A Medical degree and the successful completion of a ACGME or AOA fellowship in Child Abuse Pediatrics
  • MD or DO licensed in the State of New Jersey
  • Board-Certified in Child Abuse Pediatrics
  • Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
  • CDS and DEA license required
  • Spanish speaking a plus
  • A caring and compassionate nature when working with children and their families

Full-time compensation at Saint Peter's Healthcare System ranges from $175,000 - $750,000, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality. The compensation range listed is a good faith determination of potential compensation at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future.
