Salary (Per Diem): $125.00 per day (based on district daily rate)

Responsibilities:

Under the direction of Center Director, the Abbott P-3 Substitute Teacher will cover in an Abbott preschool classroom as needed for staff absences. Expected to follow the daily schedule, supervise and work in conjunction with the Teacher Assistant and follow the mandated curriculum. The job requires good judgement, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, following licensing standards, and maintaining required documentation/paperwork as needed.

Ability to work consistent hours between both locations.

Requirements:

• Middlesex County Substitute Certificate required
• 60 credits or Bachelor’s Degree
• Bilingual a plus
• Experience working with preschool children
