Summary:
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Support Coordinator for Off-Campus Centers. This position reports to the Manager of Academic Programs.
- Provides day-to-day administrative and student support and program coordination for student-related activities and events for the Rutgers University Statewide site located at Mercer County Community College.
- Serves as the program and student informational liaison, maintaining student data files, generating and reviewing reports (e.g., student enrollment, course offerings, rosters).
- Supports social media efforts (e.g., website, Facebook) for the Statewide Mercer County Community College location, as well as provide CRM support.
- Provides facilities support, which may include room scheduling, equipment provisioning, coordinating with facilities management (e.g., reporting maintenance requests, repairs) and providing basic tech support.
- Assists students with successfully completing the enrollment process to the Statewide Mercer location.
- Minimum
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least two (2) years of relevant experience in an administrative and program support function, or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Certifications/Licenses:
Valid driver’s license and have access to a reliable vehicle or other dependable means of transportation.
- Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Good communication and interpersonal skills, and computer literacy.
- Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience working in higher education.
- Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Ability to lift 25 lbs.
- This position is located off-site at Mercer County Community College (West Windsor, NJ).
- May be asked to provide on-site assistance at other Higher Education Centers in NJ.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, especially during the academic year.
- Clean Driving Record.
Salary Details: $20 - $25/hourly
