Position Details
The Rutgers Mathematics Department offers various postdoctoral positions in Mathematics. These include several Hill or Triennial Assistant Professorships, which are three-year non-tenure track, non-renewable, Post-Doctoral Research instructor ships. Subject to availability of funding, the Department expects to have five of these positions that will start in Fall of 2026.
Hill Assistant Professorships carry a teaching load of three single-semester courses per year, while Triennial Assistant Professorships carry a teaching load of four single-semester courses per year. Candidates should have received a Ph.D. by the time the position starts, and show outstanding promise of research ability in pure or applied mathematics as well as a capacity for effective teaching.
In addition, various postdoctoral research positions may become available, which may or may not carry teaching responsibilities.
