Posting Summary

The successful applicant will provide teaching assistance to support instructional activities within the ACEND accredited dietetic internship program. In this position, the applicant will assist faculty in delivering course content, grading assignments, and providing student feedback as well as providing support for curriculum alignment with accreditation standards and documentation requirements. Mentor and guide dietetic interns, addressing questions and facilitating learning experiences.

Collaborate with faculty and staff to maintain instructional quality and program integrity.

Responsibilities

Teaching assistance, grading, student feedback, curriculum support, mentorship, collaboration with faculty and staff.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree or higher in nutrition sciences or related field.
  • Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist with at least 5-10 years professional experience.
  • Prior experience in nutrition and dietetic education or internship programs preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with accreditation processes is a plus.
Salary Details

A minimum of $2,777 per credit.

Immunization Requirements

Under Policy 100.3.1 Immunization Policy for Covered Individuals, if employment will commence during Flu Season, Rutgers University may require certain prospective employees to provide proof that they are vaccinated against Seasonal Influenza for the current Flu Season, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Failure to provide proof of vaccination for any required vaccines or obtain a medical or religious exemption will result in rescission of a candidate’s offer of employment or disciplinary action up to and including termination.
