Tenured faculty position in Media Industries - Department of Journalism and Media Studies

We invite applications for an advanced associate or full professor in the area of Media Industries. We define media industries broadly, including news, music, technology, fashion, sports, and popular culture. We are seeking someone with leadership experience and/or interest in eventual departmental leadership.

Responsibilities of the position include undergraduate and graduate teaching, an active program of research in the candidate's area of expertise, and service contributions in accordance with university policy.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree in a relevant field, have a demonstrated record of top-tier peer-reviewed publications, evidence of effective teaching and leadership in research, teaching, and service. Applicants should currently hold advanced associate or full professor rank at their current institution.
