Tax Services Senior Analyst – FSO – State & Local Tax EDGE, Income Tax

As part of the Financial Services Organization (FSO) EDGE State and Local Tax practice, you will provide specialized tax technical services to US and international clients across banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management, insurance, real estate, hospitality, and construction.
YourKey Responsibilities
- Analyze an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
- Identify potential opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
- Research current market trends to maintain credibility as a trusted advisor.
- Develop clear, intelligent plans and approaches to improve clients’ tax activities.
- Research clients’ business operations and build long‑lasting relationships to tailor advice.
- Work with a motivated team of professionals.
- Build effective long‑term relationships with clients.
- Maintain reputation by constantly updating and sharing technical and best‑practice knowledge.
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline, or a graduate degree in Tax or Law.
- Progress towards CPA or Enrolled Agent license.
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in professional services or a professional tax organization.
- Thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems and relevant laws.
- Excellent collaboration and negotiation skills, and confidence to challenge senior colleagues and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
- Commitment to continuing learning.
- Thorough understanding of state and local partnership tax.
- Proficiency in Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Return Preparation Software.
- Experience working in a variety of teams.
- Ability to adapt your work style to work with both internal and client team members.
