Prenatal Ultrasound Tech

Antenatal Testing Unit

Responsibilities
  • Prepare exam rooms and ultrasound equipment to conduct sonography examinations in accordance with infection disease, sterilization, and patient safety protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Ensure that the sonography examination order is complete, contains relevant information, and meets the standard of "medical necessity."
  • Conduct patient clinical assessment and perform the diagnostic medical sonography examination ordered by the Perinatologist in accordance with professional and facility protocols.
  • Apply independent judgment during the sonography examination to ensure that appropriate anatomical, pathological, and clinical conditions are accurately captured in the examination images.
  • Review examination images, synthesize examination results, and prepare the Preliminary findings.
Requirements
  • Associate’s Degree in Allied Health or Sonography education preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in High-Risk OB.
  • Demonstrate competence in the care of high-risk OB patients.
  • American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) is required.
  • Demonstrate commitments to professional growth and lifelong learning (e.g., continuing medical education in the specialty area performed, higher education, staff training).
  • Demonstrate proficiency with computer skills and software programs used for documentation activities and report generation. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Salary Range: 37.91 - 60.67 USD

We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job-related work experience, internal equity, and industry-specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.

The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full-time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
