New Brunswick Counseling Center (NBCC) is a CARF-accredited, nonprofit provider of outpatient substance use and mental health services. We deliver respectful, high-quality care that supports recovery and wellness across our communities.
We’re hiring a Part-Time Licensed Clinician (LSW or LAC) to support our Behavioral Health program across our Burlington (Mount Holly) and New Brunswick locations. This is a great opportunity for a clinician who values trauma-informed, culturally responsive, person-centered care and wants to do meaningful work in a supportive team environment.

- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments for mental health and substance use needs
- Develop person-centered treatment plans in partnership with clients
- Provide individual and group counseling (in-person and telehealth)
- Use evidence-informed practices (e.g., MI, CBT/DBT-informed skills, relapse prevention, coping skills) as appropriate
- Support clients with stress management, emotional regulation, recovery supports, and community resources
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and strengthen outcomes
- Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR in accordance with program standards and compliance requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field (accredited program)
- Active New Jersey licensure: LSW or LAC (required)
- Commitment to trauma-informed and culturally responsive care
- Strong clinical judgment, boundaries, and professionalism
- Comfortable managing a caseload independently while working collaboratively
- Proficiency with EMRs and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
- Experience in outpatient behavioral health, SUD treatment, co-occurring disorders, MAT/OTP settings, or community mental health
- Group facilitation experience
- Bilingual skills (Spanish/other languages)
