About Our PropertyWelcome to The Heldrich Hotel & Conference Center in the vibrant city of New Brunswick, New Jersey, proudly part of the Pyramid Global Hospitality portfolio. The hotel features 235 guest rooms and 25,000 sq ft of meeting space spread across 25 versatile rooms. It is a sophisticated retreat that seamlessly integrates comfort with career opportunities, located in the heart of New Brunswick.
Responsibilities- Assist room attendants with supplies: cart linens, stock closets, clean closets and hallways, assist with stripping rooms, cart trash.
- Remove trash from the housekeeper's carts.
- Remove linen from the housekeeper's carts.
- Assist in the monitoring, preparation, and inventory of all linen and supplies.
- Monitor items in need of repair in public areas.
- Restock closets with linen.
- Sweep and mop stair wells and vending area.
- Maintain floors assigned to, including dusting lamps, polishing elevators, elevator tracks, and housekeeping closets.
- Vacuum.
- Handle chemicals.
Perform the duties of other positions within the housekeeping department based on business demands and guest needs.
Requirements- Citizen of this country or possess a valid work permit.
- Must live in the local area or within commuting distance.
- Must be able to converse in basic English. li>Requires strong organizational skills.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Able to be on your feet for long periods of time.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Excellent people skills.
- Must meet grooming standards.
- Meet or exceed customer expectations.
