Talent Manager, Employee Relations

Responsibilities- Serve as a strategic partner to leadership in assigned client groups and identify and recommend human resources responses aligned to business strategy and act as a trusted advisor in decision‑making related to people and culture.
- Partner with managers and assigned client groups to resolve employee relations issues that may include conflict resolution, performance management, corrective action, and workplace investigations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on employee relations matters, handle all complex workplace investigations, partner with Legal and Compliance on high‑escalated employee matters and provide recommendations and insights to the Vice President, Chief Human Resource Officer for final approvals.
- Provide direction and coaching to the Employee Experience team on employee relations issues, ensuring timely and consistent resolution.
- Serve as a key contributor on special projects and initiatives related to employee engagement, retention, change management, workforce planning, and leadership coaching.
- Analyze employee metrics (i.e., turnover, retention, engagement) to identify patterns or areas of risk and recommend targeted interventions to improve engagement and retention to senior leadership of assigned client groups.
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition/Practice Acquisitions, Total Rewards, Organizational Development, HR Service Center) to deliver integrated HR solutions.
- Ensure hospital HR practices comply with federal, state, and local labor laws as well as healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Management or related field or eight (8) years of Human Resources experience.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible Human Resources experience, including significant experience in employee relations.
- HR Certification (i.e., SHRM‑CP, SHRM‑SCP, PHR, SPHR, CHHR) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience supporting a healthcare or hospital environment (clinical and non‑clinical) preferred.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and healthcare HR compliance.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship‑building skills.
- High degree of confidentiality, professionalism, strategic thinking and sound judgement.
- Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to identify trends and provide recommendations to leaders in support of their operations.
- Excellent investigation, documentation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Demonstrated ability to use all components of the MS Office Suite.
- Extensive experience with HRIS systems (i.e., Lawson, Cornerstone, Absence Soft, Ever Check).
- Ability to work well independently and as part of the entire HR team.
Salary Range: 98,342. USD
We offer competitive base rates that are determined by many factors, including job‑related work experience, internal equity, and industry‑specific market data. In addition to base salary, some positions may be eligible for clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
The salary range listed for exempt positions reflects full‑time compensation and will be prorated based on employment status.
