Johnson & Johnson Information Technology, Corporate Business Technology seeks a Fellow Architect to provide strategic leadership and ownership in developing AI architectural strategy while advancing the capabilities and effectiveness of Quality teams. This role will contribute to the advancement of Quality Architecture and lead the development of a comprehensive AI Architecture for CBT. The position will influence the future AI strategy for CBT.
Responsibilities- Design and deliver robust solution architectures aligned with Enterprise Architecture guidelines.
- Communicate complex technical decisions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders required.
- Champion reusable, composable, and scalable components while ensuring compliance with security and data governance required.
- Collaborate with engineering and infrastructure teams to align technical implementations with architectural standards, enhancing speed to value.
- Design data platforms and products that meet business needs and adapt to evolving models.
- Monitor industry trends in data architecture and AI to proactively address future requirements.
- Provide guidance on architectural matters, focusing on detailed solution architectures and integration strategies.
- Facilitate alignment between business objectives and IT initiatives across product teams.
- Partner with technology and product owners to refine technical backlogs based on business value and resource feasibility.
- Implement cost optimization strategies and monitor resource utilization in product deployment.
- Advocate for modern technologies and establish best practices for secure, efficient implementations.
- Ensure security by integrating threat modeling into architecture to identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with all frameworks.
- Develop a data governance framework to define data ownership, access control, and quality standards.
- Promote data analytics for improved decision-making and establish integration standards across business plans.
- Coach and mentor architects and product teams to cultivate architectural thinking and skills.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in support of Quality as an Architect and/or Tech Lead required.
- Experience with contemporary Artificial Intelligence designs and expertise in Artificial Intelligence concepts.
- Understanding of Life Sciences industry, Quality & Labs and/or relevant domains required.
- Awareness of existing, new and emerging technologies, and processing environments required.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture tools, related graphical models, and frameworks required.
- Experience developing and applying minimal viable architectures, which could include a set of standards, reference architecture patterns, principles and guardrails required.
- Experience collaborating with delivery teams to ensure consistency with the architecture standards and patterns, as well as to leverage shared technologies, tools and processes that impact speed to value and time to market required.
- Product expertise of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics required.
- Ready to think behave and act in an innovate consulting manner to drive the organization’s digital business strategies required.
- Experience estimating the financial impact of architecture alternatives and applying multiple solutions to business problems required.
