The ideal candidate is an adaptable leader who can work independently, supervise and develop teams, manage competing priorities, strengthen organizational systems, and build partnerships that advance TUHC’s mission. Key Responsibilities
Executive & Organizational Leadership
  • Partner with the President to translate strategic priorities into clear work plans, timelines, responsibilities, and measurable outcomes.
  • Oversee day-to-day organizational operations and cross-functional coordination to keep programs, projects, and administrative priorities on schedule.
  • Identify organizational challenges, develop practical solutions, and strengthen policies, procedures, workflows, and internal systems.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for staff, contractors, volunteers, partners, and other stakeholders, and represent TUHC or the President when delegated.
  • Prepare and coordinate materials for leadership, staff, board, and partner meetings while handling sensitive organizational information with discretion.
Staff Supervision & Team Development

  • Conduct regular check-ins, monitor progress, and address workflow, communication, or performance concerns in coordination with the President when needed.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, orientation, training, and professional development of team members.
  • Build a collaborative and accountable workplace culture while helping emerging staff develop stronger leadership skills.
Program & Project Management
  • Independently manage organizational projects from planning through implementation, evaluation, and completion.
  • Coordinate multiple programs, initiatives, partnerships, deadlines, and deliverables while ensuring teams remain aligned with organizational priorities.
  • Anticipate project barriers, resolve problems, and strengthen systems for tracking progress, data, reporting, and continuous improvement.
  • Coordinate with program staff to ensure grant-funded activities, reporting requirements, and key deliverables are completed on time.
Strategic Partnerships & Organizational Growth
  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, healthcare organizations, businesses, funders, and community stakeholders.
  • Represent TUHC at meetings, coalitions, conferences, community events, and partnership discussions when appropriate.
  • Evaluate and develop partnerships and new opportunities that align with TUHC’s mission, capacity, and long‑term goals.
  • Identify opportunities to expand TUHC’s programming, resources, visibility, partnerships, and community reach.
