Reports To: Value Stream and Packaging Manager

FLSA Status: Hourly

Responsible for prepping routers with the mentality of making the Packers’ job safe and efficient, reducing changeover and applying GDP in a GMP environment. Work as a team member and adhering to all rules, policies and SOP’s while striving to improve functions throughout the department. Cross training is a must within all areas of the department.

• Routers and Labels Verification
• Materials, Containers, PPE and Utensils preparation
• Labeling containers
• Replenish Supply items
• Inventory Stock checks
• Data capturing for metrics
• Keep the area clean, per CGMP requirements

• Strong attention to details
• Must be team player as department works together as one team.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, be flexible and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to provide help throughout the Department where permitted.
• Must be flexible on work schedule if overtime is required

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. Fluent in English – written and oral skills required.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations and solve them.

• High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
• 1-2 years related experience or training preferred
• Previous Experience and/or permit for operation of forklifts preferred

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must have the ability on a daily basis to lift and move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
