Packaging Operator

Spectrum Staffing Services is recruiting for two Packaging Operators with a pharmaceutical manufacturer. This entry-level opportunity begins with manual packaging of finished topical products. We are looking for dependable people who arrive on time, follow instructions, and work well with a team. Training is provided, with opportunities to learn additional packaging and filling duties.

• Assemble shipping boxes and pack finished products into cases.
• Support case sealing, labeling, and material handling using a manual pallet jack.
• Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and required personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures.
• Clean and wipe down work areas and equipment as instructed.
• Inspect packaging and promptly report product, equipment, or safety concerns.
• Learn filling, cartoning, equipment operation, and required documentation as training progresses.

• Packaging, warehouse, shipping, or manufacturing experience is helpful; experience from other industries will be considered.
• Pharmaceutical or GMP experience is a plus. Training is available.
• Reliable attendance, punctuality, and transportation to the worksite.
• Clear communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and handle cases weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Availability for the first-shift schedule and required overtime, with a cooperative approach to teamwork.

• Training in pharmaceutical packaging, safety, and GMP procedures.
• Opportunity to learn filling and cartoning over approximately 30-45 days.
