The George Street Co-op is a non-profit natural foods store owned and run by its members. We sell vegetarian foods with the greatest nutritional value possible, and only minimal processing or additives. Everyone is welcome to shop at the Co-op and choose from our excellent selection of fresh organic produce, bulk foods, vitamins & herbs, body care and earth-friendly products, gifts, and more.
The George Street Co-op is looking for someone to lead our Facilities Committee! Our facilities committee keeps our co-op running smoothly and oversees the maintenance and improvement of our building and equipment.
Our ideal facilities committee lead should be a skilled communicator, resourceful, and comfortable with problem-solving. A knack for project management or a background in facilities would also be a huge asset! The Co-op already has a number of enthusiastic and reliable members who are active in the Facilities Committee. What we need is an individual who can coordinate their talents and follow through with completing multi-step projects.
