RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Director of Patient Care for the Medical Unit II at the New Brunswick campus.

• BSN required
• At least 2-3 years leadership/charge/preceptor experience as a Registered Nurse
• Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills

• MSN highly preferred
• Previous experience as a nursing director preferred
• National Board Certification

• BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License

• Night Shift, 40 hours per week
• Full-Time
• On Call Leadership Coverage

• Provides leadership and direction to fulfill unit goals and objectives.
• Effectively communicates information, utilizes resources and manages staff and services.
• Assists the Director with daily unit operations and delegated responsibilities.
• Will be assigned 50% of patient care responsibilities.
• Collaboratively prepares and maintains staff schedule and payroll.
• Effectively collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and drives staff accountability.
