RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a highly dedicated Assistant Director of Patient Care for the Medical Unit II at the New Brunswick campus.
Qualifications- BSN required
- At least 2-3 years leadership/charge/preceptor experience as a Registered Nurse
- Strong communication, organizational and presentation skills
- MSN highly preferred
- Previous experience as a nursing director preferred
- National Board Certification
- BLS, ACLS and PALS certification
- Active New Jersey Registered Nurse License
- Night Shift, 40 hours per week
- Full-Time
- On Call Leadership Coverage
- Provides leadership and direction to fulfill unit goals and objectives.
- Effectively communicates information, utilizes resources and manages staff and services.
- Assists the Director with daily unit operations and delegated responsibilities.
- Will be assigned 50% of patient care responsibilities.
- Collaboratively prepares and maintains staff schedule and payroll.
- Effectively collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and drives staff accountability.
