Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure
Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing,
Currently licensed to practice professional nursing in the State of New Jersey or a graduate of an accredited school with eligibility for licensure,
BLS Certification Required,
PALS/ACLS Certification Required,
Experience:
Previous Acute Care experience preferred,
Work Environment and Hazards Exposure to blood, excrement and odors,
Exposure to infections and communicable diseases,
Potential exposure to hazardous materials and communicable disease,
Special Physical Demands A physical condition is required that permits reaching, pushing, pulling, lifting, walking and standing for most of the shift,
Must be able to function under rapidly changing and stressful conditions,
