We are seeking a passionate culinary professional to join our culinary team at the The Heldrich Hotel & Conference Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. This position offers a supportive environment and opportunities for growth.

You will develop skills in cooking procedures and methods, work with knives and equipment, recreate recipes, maintain quality, minimize waste, and support kitchen operations.

• Develop your knowledge of grill, sauté, and fry techniques.
• Use knives and kitchen equipment.
• Recreate recipes.
• Maintain consistent food preparation.
• Minimize food waste through cross utilization.
• Work with a world-class culinary team.
• Create workstations with ingredients and equipment.
• Prepare ingredients (chopping, peeling, cutting).
• Keep the kitchen sanitized and orderly.
• Store food and items properly.
• Ensure quality of ingredients.

• Active food handler certification or ability to obtain it.
• Willing to work variety of day/night and weekend shifts.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Can work on feet for long periods; lift up to 50 pounds.
• At least 21 years old.
• Desire to exceed expectations.
• Energetic personality.
