Sales Specialist – New Brunswick, NJ

Base pay range: $39,000.00/yr - $44,000.00/yr

• Interact with customers in person, over the phone, and via email to understand their needs, answer questions, and provide product recommendations.
• Process customer orders, including accurately inputting orders into the system, verifying pricing and product availability, and coordinating delivery schedules.
• Create and maintain relationships with new customers by providing outstanding service, identifying new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets.
• Conduct outbound cold calls, customer visits, and prospecting activities to engage with potential customers, introduce our products, and schedule sales appointments.
• Utilize building materials knowledge to effectively communicate and demonstrate the value of our products to customers.
• Recommend products and different product options for clients.
• Collaborate with the sales team and management to develop accurate sales forecasts, set realistic sales goals, and track progress toward achieving targets.
• Use CRM tools to track calls, outreach activity, pipeline progress, and customer interactions.

• Previous experience in the lumber, building materials or home improvement sector, such as flooring, decking, tiles, moulding.
• Experience with client database systems, Excel and inventory navigation.
• Experience in developing and implementing sales strategies.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Preferred).
