Overview
Rutgers University – Department of Plant Biology, School of Environmental and Biological Sciences is recruiting Seasonal Agricultural Workers. The role involves field, greenhouse, and laboratory work supporting turfgrass research and disease management.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with turfgrass pathologists in the Center of Turfgrass Sciences.
- Conduct turfgrass field and greenhouse management, disease control program development, agricultural chemical application, and disease control efficacy evaluation.
- Perform day‑to‑day field and laboratory experiments using ARM software for project management.
Minimum
Education and Experience:
- High school or vocational school education or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Science or a related discipline.
- Knowledge of wet and dry lab techniques, such as DNA extraction from turfgrass samples, digital PCR, and statistical analysis.

$16 – $21 per hour (non‑exempt).
