Route Service / Inventory Manager - MUST HAVE DRIVING EXPERIENCE

Join Unitex as a Route Service / Inventory Manager. Your role focuses on managing delivery routes, maintaining inventory, and ensuring excellent customer service.

• Establish and maintain regular customer contact.
• Schedule and oversee new account installations, including delivery sequences.
• Conduct weekly visits to customers for contract renewals, soil audits, and inventory checks.
• Resolve customer issues related to credit, payment terms, service delivery frequency, and service days.
• Cover routes when required (operate non‑CDL trucks) and monitor driver safety and customer service skills.
• Train, develop, and discipline direct reports (Route Supervisor and 5-8 drivers).

Required Skills

• 5+ years supervising a team and managing delivery routes.
• Proficiency in driving and operating non‑CDL trucks.
• Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Efficient time management and organizational abilities.
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Physical capability to lift heavy objects and load items into trucks.

Compensation: $75,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus commissions on contract renewals.
