Position: Reservationist/CSR (Part-Time)

Overview

Reservationist/CSR (Part-Time) - Transdev in New Carrollton, MD is hiring a Reservationist/CSR (Part-time) to intercept customer calls and schedule transportation. We are seeking friendly, customer service-oriented people who are dedicated to safety.

Responsibilities
  • Answer customer calls and input ride information using a computerized scheduling system.
  • Enter new customer information and changes into the system.
  • Data entry into spreadsheets and databases.
  • Communicate late vehicle service and verifying “No Shows” with customers.
  • Resolve service-related complaints.
  • Create daily route maps of the reservations for the drivers.
  • Other duties as required.
Benefits
  • Paid Sick Leave:
    Part-time employees may be eligible for 40 hours yearly based on hours worked.
Compensation (Union)
  • $20.00 - $33.52 (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale)
  • Starting pay $20.00 with progression to $33.52 over 7 years.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 2 years reservationist or customer service experience.
  • Computer literate.
  • Excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
  • Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements
  • Work is accomplished indoors in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities.
  • Sit, type, and look at a computer for extended periods (up to 6–9 hours per day).
  • Must be able to communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in written correspondence.
  • Work is accomplished in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.
  • Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level.
