Loan Doc & Proc Assoc Analyst Hybrid – Citi
Full-time position located in New Castle, Delaware, United States. Salary range: $48,840.00 – $68,160.00 per year.
Responsibilities- Manage the preparation and review of loan documentation while supporting various tasks related to the loan process.
- Independently process and close loans within a complex operations environment.
- Provide day‑to‑day loan transactional processing such as booking cash transactions, making payments, performing reconciliations, and inputting general ledger entries and complex calculations.
- Interact with counter parties about positions and outstanding balances/claims.
- Support a diverse array of products and services focusing on risk and control.
- Follow established procedures to identify and resolve problems related to loan documentation/processing that require investigation or research.
- Make recommendations to management to support process improvement.
- Resolve problems by selecting solutions using technical experience, guided by precedents.
- Design and analyze moderately complex loan documentation reports for management, support/control activities, and product launches.
- Make evaluative judgments based on factual analysis and assist in implementing process improvements.
- Minimize bank risk by understanding procedural requirements, monitoring errors, and suggesting solutions to reduce errors in line with audit and control policies.
- Timely manage and escape all requests and issues related to loan processing.
- Engage directly with external customers to disseminate or explain information.
- Demonstrate an intermediate understanding of products and processes, and how duties integrate with other teams.
- Show excellent knowledge of bank‑related systems.
- Utilize communication, interpersonal, and diplomatic skills to interact with colleagues, stakeholders, and sensitive audiences.
- Exhibit executional capabilities at this level.
- Assess risk appropriately when making business decisions, demonstrating consideration for the firm’s reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, clients, and assets by complying with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
- 0-2 years of relevant experience.
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a collaborative team atmosphere.
- Ability to perform well in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
- Detail‑oriented.
- Can work well under pressure and multitask.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.
