Part-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Are you experienced in human services or caregiving and looking for part-time work that makes a difference? Ken Crest is hiring part-time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) in Kent, Sussex, and New Castle Counties. DSPs support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. This is a part-time position only with set schedules available for mornings, evenings, overnights, and weekends.
It’s a great job for someone who wants steady hours, flexible shift options, and meaningful work helping others.
As a DSP, you’ll support people with tasks such as:
- Daily routines like dressing, meals, or taking medication
- Community involvement—shopping, appointments, walks, or outings
- Light housekeeping and helping create a safe, supportive home environment
You’ll work as part of a team, helping people live as independently and safely as possible.
What We’re Looking For- Previous experience in caregiving, human services, or related roles preferred
- High school diploma or GED required
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record (within the last 12 months)
required - Able to pass background checks and complete required training
- Reliable, compassionate, and motivated to help others
- Paid training and ongoing support
