Job As a Recreation Therapist

The Recreation Therapist plans, coordinates and directs patient participation in selected activities, with the Meadowwood Behavioral Health Hospital setting. Provides treatment services and recreational therapy services using various techniques such as games, social activities, art, crafts, dance and movement, drama, sports and music to create an atmosphere of sociability.

Your Skills And Qualifications As a Recreation Therapist

• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Rec Therapy, or related field required
• Master's degree preferred
• 3+ years experience in recreation in a healthcare setting required

Licenses/Certifications

• CTRS (Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist)

Schedule

This position is for weekend shifts with varying hours based on the needs of the facility, allowing you to enjoy a great work/life balance. Daily schedule to be discussed.
