Castle Caregiver; Homecare

Our unique approach, guided by the "Grandmom Rule," ensures that our clients receive the highest level of care, just as we would for our own loved ones.

As a New Castle Caregiver (Homecare), you will be responsible for delivering essential personal care services tailored to meet the unique needs of our patients. You will assist with daily living activities, provide medication reminders, and ensure patient safety, among other responsibilities.

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
• Monitor and record patient temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
• Preferred:
  Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
• Current CPR certification
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws
