Overview:
Reporting directly to the Department Manager, the Production Supervisor is responsible for supervising daily operations within the assigned department. Responsibilities include ensuring lead associates are properly trained, maintaining records and inventory, meeting HACCP requirements, and coordinating with other departments.

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Communicate, coordinate, and supervise department’s daily objectives.
• Train lead personnel in job requirements and supervisory responsibilities.
• Ensure all employees are trained and understand the processes.
• Discuss departmental issues with management and staff, and suggest improvements.
• Prepare required reports and document resolution steps.
• Complete daily timesheets and manage employee scheduling.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and work rules.
• Conduct employee evaluations and disciplinary actions in coordination with HR.
• Represent the department at meetings and functions.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience in the food industry.
• 3-5 years of related food industry experience, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• HACCP certification.
• Knowledge of USDA regulations.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
