Join our After School team as an assistant and help kids learn and create! Support instructors, lend a hand with art projects and homework, and help keep the classroom running smoothly.
Arts & Education at the Hoyt will be providing 3 classrooms for After School Arts this year (Grade 1-2, 3-4, and 5-6). We are currently looking for instructors and classroom assistants. The program meets Tuesday through Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. (includes homework hour and art lesson).
The Fall session runs September 9 – November 20, 2025
Responsibilities:- Assist instructor with setup and cleanup.
- Provide hands-on help to students (homework and art lessons).
- Assist with classroom management.
- Provide supervision with breaks and dismissal
- Must be 16 or older.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Must have interest in the arts and/or teaching
* Clearances are required
* Compensation: $10 per hour
