- School Year role at Lawrence County Community Action Partnership.
Purpose:
Assist Early Learning Education Coordinators with data collection, implementation and compliance.
- Education:
Associate degree or higher preferred. - Experience:
Preferred experience in Early Childhood. - Training, education, or experience in Early Childhood Education.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Mental Concentration:
Considerable concentration intermittently. - Physical Effort:
Moderate physical effort in predominantly standing position. Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs. - Special Demands:
Moderate travel. Potential eyestrain. Current PA Driver's License and access to a vehicle. - Special Requirements:
All applicable state and federal clearances, pre-employment physical with TB screen, biennial physical thereafter.
- Works with staff to assist with expectations, communication and implementation related to LCCAP Early Learning Curriculum and regulations.
- Provides support, recommendations, and modeling techniques for designated staff.
- Assists with facilitation of staff meetings, training, coordination of professional development, coaching, and mentoring opportunities.
- Assist with data collection and implementation of all regulations and standards.
- Completes observations and assessments related to classroom and staff practices.
- Assist with monitoring of staff time tracking, coverage needs, and areas related to employment requirements.
- Produce data reports.
- Supports the leadership and direction of the education content area, in the processes necessary to comply with all requirements.
- Assist with monitoring of curriculum implementation.
- Utilizes assessment data to initiate plans.
- Assist in implementing recommendations from Early Learning Coordinators.
- Supports needs of all children and families as identified through agency data.
- Track data and correspondence as it relates to classroom practices.
- Reviewing classroom implementation and practices while providing necessary communication with all parties to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Oversee, monitor, and update data management systems to provide appropriate information for program operations and quality improvement.
- Maintains strict confidentiality with respect to children, families and staff in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Attend training as determined appropriate.
- Provides flexible support across multiple program areas as needed, demonstrating adaptability, teamwork, and a commitment to overall organizational success.
- Perform other related work as required on behalf of the agency.
