Staff Occupational Therapist OTR/L, In House

Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at New Castle is hiring a PRN Occupational Therapist for the In-House Rehab Team. This position allows collaborative work with therapists and nursing staff in an environment built on integrity and progressive, ethical care.

The Occupational Therapist (OT) will evaluate, plan, treat, and provide direct patient care services using standard occupational therapy practices and procedures. The OT will also document treatments, changes in condition and other pertinent information as required.

• Evaluate, plan, and administer treatment to residents and patients with temporary or long‑term disabilities to relieve pain, restore or improve function, and promote healing.
• Assure all treatment is delivered in accordance with an established plan of care.
• Provide clinical support and instruct patients, families, and caregivers.
• Measure and record patient’s motor and neurological capabilities.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and make modifications during sessions as necessary.
• Complete documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations.

• SNF/Long term care experience preferred.
• Current knowledge of treatment practices.
• Knowledge of Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
• Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities.

• Current License as Occupational Therapist in the State of PA, in good standing.
