Location: New Castle, Monaca, Butler

Pay Rate: $21.00/hr

Schedule: Daytime hours, Monday-Friday (hours may vary weekly)

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable, professional, and experienced Armed Security Officer to provide a visible security presence and ensure the safety and protection of our clients’ facilities in New Castle, Monaca, and Butler.

This role requires a strong background in armed security, with an emphasis on maintaining a secure environment and responding to incidents swiftly and appropriately. If you have ACT 235 certification and armed security experience, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of the premises, including exterior and interior inspections, to deter criminal activity and ensure security.
• Incident Response: Respond to emergencies, disturbances, or security breaches promptly, using appropriate force as necessary and in line with legal and company policies.
• Access Control: Monitor and control access to buildings and restricted areas, ensuring only authorized individuals are allowed entry.
• Surveillance Monitoring: Monitor security cameras and systems to detect any unusual or suspicious activities.
• Report Writing: Document and report all incidents, accidents, or observations in a clear and detailed manner, maintaining thorough logs for compliance and reference.
• Customer Service: Interact with employees, visitors, and the general public in a professional, respectful, and helpful manner. Provide assistance when needed, including directions and general security information.
• Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that your weapon, holster, and other security equipment are in proper working condition, following company procedures for maintenance and safety.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other security officers and law enforcement as needed to ensure effective security operations.

Requirements

• ACT 235 Certification: Current and valid ACT 235 certification is required to carry and use a firearm in the course of duty.
• Armed Security
  
  Experience:
  
  Proven experience as an armed security officer, with knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and firearm safety.
• Weapon & Equipment: Must have a Level 2 holster or higher, a duty belt
  , and your own firearm

• Physical Fitness: Ability to remain alert and perform duties in various physical conditions, including walking, standing, and occasionally responding to physical confrontations.
• Background Check: Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
• Professionalism: Must exhibit a high level of professionalism, integrity, and a strong understanding of security procedures.
• Flexibility: Must be available for daytime shifts Monday through Friday, with hours varying based on operational needs.
