The Nexplore Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, in-person STEM instruction to support students fostering the joy of learning. Supplied with lesson plans, curriculum, and materials, the Nexplore Instructor is responsible for preparing for instruction and teaching students in grades K-8. They will report to a Nexplore Program Success Manager.

• Arrive on time and prepared to teach (must review lesson plans and materials prior to instruction)
• Manage instructional materials
• Deliver lessons from Nexplore’s collection of 45+ programs (schedule/lessons will be provided)
• Follow required teacher: student classroom ratios at all times, as relevant
• Communicate and collaborate with Nexplore Program Success Manager and site personnel

• Part‑time position
• AA Degree (or higher)
• 2+ years teaching/instructing (preferred)
• Passion for education and fostering the joy of learning in children
• Experience working with children
• Educational (development or training) experience
• Teaching degree or certificate is a PLUS!
• Must commit to the full proposed schedule
• Great communication and presentation skills

• Reliable transportation
• Willing to complete mandatory training
