Monte Nido Rockland is a residential treatment program for adults with eating disorders, including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Exercise Addiction. The program focuses on restoring physiological and nutritional balance, establishing healthy eating and exercise routines, eliminating harmful behaviors, and fostering motivation and engagement in treatment.
Base Pay Range$95,000 – $120,000 per year
Schedule & Total Rewards• 3–12 hour shifts

- Recruit, hire, and train competent department staff.
- Monitor and evaluate all aspects of facility medication management.
- Meet with clients as needed to ensure best practice care and treatment.
- Communicate with outside treatment professionals consistently with MNA processes.
- Ensure admission and discharge processes maintain continuity of care regarding nursing and medical issues.
- Maintain the nursing schedule, managing vacation requests, sick leave, new hires, and staffing requirements.
- Facilitate performance evaluations for direct reports and implement merit increases approved by the Clinical Director.
- Produce and maintain communications that provide detailed and useful information on current clients.
- Ensure quality nursing notes are entered for each patient every shift.
- Organize and facilitate laboratory work per provider orders.
- Ensure admission nursing assessments and care plans for each client are complete per program policy.
- Maintain confidentiality of protected health information.
- Provide ongoing training as needed to existing nursing personnel.
- Ensure effective communication between nursing staff and collaborating disciplines.
- Ensure provider orders for admission are present upon client admission.
- Organize and document required monthly nursing meetings and other necessary meetings.
- Manage maintenance of all nursing‑related spaces and equipment.
- Ensure proper nursing documentation is entered for each client, including daily shift notes, weekly updates, treatment plans, contact notes, and discharge summaries.
- Review and document employee performance at 90 days after hire, annually, and as needed per company policy.
- Manage performance improvement/disciplinary action as warranted, documenting performance management as required.
- Attend nursing leadership calls/meetings monthly and as needed.
- Assist with insurance issues as needed or designated.
- Coordinate with providers to maintain necessary communication and documentation for medical, psychiatric, nursing, and medication management.
- Oversee facility’s infection control/prevention program.
- Ensure on‑call nursing staff is always designated.
- Handle facility‑related calls and cover uncovered shifts when other staff are unavailable.
- Coordinate and ensure all admission requirements are completed per organization policy.
- Ensure proper destruction or return of all medications per policy and regulatory standards.
- Maintain adequate inventory and supply of necessary nursing items in accordance with budget.
- Assist with additional program needs as requested by leadership.
- Seek opportunities to increase self‑knowledge to improve client care.
- Maintain compliance with Joint Commission and State/License regulatory standards and company policy.
- In emergencies, may be required to remain onsite as part of the emergency team until complete.
- Identify and refer legal or ethical issues in client care to the Clinical Director or Director of Compliance.
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing and current RN licensure.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience.
- Preferred experience managing nursing operations in a residential or hospital eating‑disorder setting.
- Excellent communication, patient relations, time‑management, safety awareness, and teamwork skills.
